I graduated from Bristol University in July 2003. I spent the first part of my career working in the West Country and have now worked at Cherry Tree for 6 years. I have a special interest in small animal ophthalmology and have been awarded a Postgraduate Certification in Small Animal Veterinary Ophthalmology. My interest in ophthalmology developed from caring for my own Golden Retriever who suffered from inherited glaucoma and also from working alongside a Specialist Ophthalmologist in Devon. I love seeing any new, interesting ophthalmology cases and my aim is to try and preserve vision and alleviate pain.
I live near Henley and have a young family. We own a very energetic Labrador called Sherwood, a Cocker Spaniel puppy called Bramble and a very tolerant rescue cat, Portly. Luckily my husband and children also love animals!
In my experience, the most enjoyable thing about being a Vet is following an animal through from diagnosis, treatment and to complete recovery. There is nothing more rewarding.
